Nest spotted by Nick Elliott Pimm: “Lorikeets competing with Indian mynas for nest in hole in building. Last season, nest was successfully used by breeding lorikeets (1 offspring i think). Then lorikeets left the nest. Then the Indian mynas used the empty nest (3 offspring i think.) Mynas still use the nest, but lorikeets have returned, and seem to have evicted the mynas by harassing them. Mynas are still investigating the hole, but seems lorikeets are winning.
