Brush-turkey spotted by Kay Peacock: “There were two females sunbathing, they are about 14 months old. They've definitely been mating as they've appeared with scratches around their heads, and missing head hair. (They weren't like this a few months ago) There are also 2 tiny chicks and one a bit bigger. I'd say a week or so old. The chicks are sleeping in the huge trees with the older brush turkeys. The largest male does chase the small ones away. The small chicks are chased by the biggest chick, wings out, fluttering.” in the Big City Birds App on 14.12.2023
