Sulphur-crested Cockatoo spotted by Arthur Rennick: “In the 1950s my Uncle had a pet cockatoo which would sit on the back of a chair at mealtimes and join in.
Very destructive, the back of the chairs, plastic light shades were demolished.
My story about the bird was he had a crow as a friend. He would sit on the roof and call out to him. When Crow turned up they would fly over to the chook pen, the cockatoo would roll an egg out of the nest and then Crow would fly down and take it away.” in the Big City Birds App on 23.07.2021
