He was soon joined by unmarked cockatoo, both left as soon as they realised they weren’t going to get any more. Other bird spotted by ednaward: “When this photo was taken about 7.30 pm several Currawongs were flying in and out of a tree across the road. Usually I only see one or two. I hadn’t noticed the chick until I was going through the videos. However the next morning we were woken up at about 5.30 am by the loudest noise I have ever heard. It happened again about 9.30 am. Now I am wondering if this is a Currawong chick or a Cuckoo. Any suggestions?” in the Big City Birds App on 22.12.2021

Sulphur-crested Cockatoo spotted by TESS: “3 cockatoos, 2 unmarked. There’s a tree opposite that they’re foraging in, no idea what it is. I tried giving them banana today - none of them were impressed at my efforts at trying to introduce a healthy diet 🙄 I’ve also discovered if you approach them with a Brussel sprout they immediately fly off in disgust (or fright, not sure which!) Also 2 Noisy miners that seem to be regulars & quite bold (but skittish) - very wary of the cockatoos though.” in the Big City Birds App on 21.12.2021
