Brush-turkey spotted by Sydney Spotter: “Old Turkey nest mound was covered by a blue tarp to discourage the turkey males from returning from a few years ago. Largely successful for a few years except for this year. A turkey has returned in winter and simply began piling litter on top of previous covered mound. There is a blue tarpaulin still under there. Property owner has not interfered with male building gigantic mound. Females spotted in/around mound.” in the Big City Birds App on 13.09.2023
