Naturdenkmal spotted by Dietrich Krieger: “Forscher der Universität Tübingen untersuchten die Funde 2022 erneut. Dabei stellten sie fest, dass viele der Knochen untypisch für die wahrscheinlich auf zwei Beinen gehenden Plateosaurier waren, und einer bisher unbekannten Art angehören mussten. Die neue Art wurde Tuebingosaurus maierfritzorum genannt und ging, nach derzeitigem Wissensstand, auf vier Beinen. So sind für die Fundstelle jetzt zwei Arten von Sauriern nachgewiesen. Daneben fandes sich auch Ammoniten und die längst ausgestorbene Schildkröte Proganochelys.” in the Landauf, LandApp BW App on 08.11.2023
