Staudamm spotted by Dietrich Krieger: “Da es beim Abschiebern von durchflossenen Leitungen durch das Abbremsen des Wassers zu Druckstößen kommt, wurde in der Nähe des Schieberhauses ein|Wasserschloss errichtet, um diese abzufangen. Es ist über eine Leitung mit dem Schieberhaus verbunden. Der oberirdische Teil des Bauwerks ist in der vegetationsarmen Jahreszeit oberhalb des Schieberhauses zu sehen.” in the Landauf, LandApp BW App on 19.03.2022

Staudamm spotted by Dietrich Krieger: “Die Linachtalsperre wurde zwischen 1922 und 1925 von der Stadt Vöhrenbach errichtet. Sie ist die einzige Gewölbereihenstaumauer in Deutschland. Die 13 bogenförmigen Tonnengewölbe der Linachtalsperre wurden zur Talseite hin mit 12 Wandscheiben stabilisiert. Die Grundfläche eines Gewölbes mit zwei Wandscheiben bildet ein U. Gewölbe und Wandscheiben wurden auf Fundamenten errichtet, die auf den im Linachtal anstehenden Felsen gegründet sind. Die 13 Gewölbebauwerke werden durch Riegel und Versteifungstreben stabilisiert.” in the Landauf, LandApp BW App on 11.02.2017
