The other male still has a fully extended wattle and Colin’s has been reducing for some weeks. I wonder what this indicates. Is it because the other male is younger and has stronger hormones which extend his wattle for longer while Colin is getting closer to or is in ‘middle age’ when perhaps the hormones gradually reduce over the years?
