White Ibis spotted by FelisTurkeydad: “The local grocer gets pallets of bread delivered in the morning. As I walked past, I saw the ibis tear open a bag containing a loaf of white bread. It pulled out a chunk and walked away to eat it. Some pigeons took advantage of the opening it created and started eating the bread too. I've seen them and little corellas (together) digging up Romulea rosea corms. At some point in recent history these birds learnt to recognise the species and dig these up.
