Brush-turkey spotted by Chris-M: “Princess Fiona has apparently lost both her wingtags, which makes her more difficult to spot. However, she still has the metal band around her leg. The last time I recognised her she had lost one wingtag, but she has probably been under my nose more often than I thought. As she is only one of three Shelly Beach turkeys to have been tagged, to my knowledge, this turkey in the photograph must be Princess Fiona, formerly 092. She has also come down the stairs for a forage and/or scavenge and must also cope with the pursuit by a male brush turkey. It’s good to know that Princess Fiona is still around in the land of the living.” in the Big City Birds App on 31.10.2022
