Auch die Wallfahrt, die seit rund 550 Jahren traditionell nach Heimbach zur Schmerzhaften Mutter Gottes führt, sorgte für regen Absatz. Die Plastik ist im Rahmen einer "Heimatwerkstatt" unter der künstlerischen Leitung der Bildhauerin Luise Kött Gärtner entstanden. Ziel ist, dass die Stühlchen im Bewusstsein bleiben und in die Zukunft getragen werden, denn sie sind ein Beleg für Nachhaltigkeit und sinnvollen Umgang mit den Ressourcen der Natur, Themen, die wichtiger sind denn je. Gefördert vom Ministerium für Heimat, Kommunales, Bau und Gleichstellung des Landes NRW.” in the ArtSpots App on 12.07.2023
