White Ibis spotted by TassieJules: “Ibis was in small group that approached us at the table in the shelter shed. Number 71 kept back from the others somewhat, did not seem dominant in food begging. Not sure of sex, does pink tag mean female? Noticed two pink tags and what looked like a tracker or solar device in middle of back between shoulder blades.” in the Big City Birds App on 24.06.2024

Brush-turkey spotted by Jon54: “Heard periodic 'gobbling' call and went to investigate. Bird was on road holding up traffic but moved to a weedy strip adjacent to footpath. A neighbor enticed onto his property with a bread trail. He shut the gate and was going to call an authority. I'm wondering if it's the same albino turkey seen in Noosa 2019 as reportd in Sunshine Coast Daily although I now read that 'Albi' had been hit by a car back then & seriously injured. Edit: my bird might not be a brush turkey at all 😄” in the Big City Birds App on 22.06.2024
