Other bird spotted by Erica Vdh: “We have a pair of lorikeets that nest in a gum tree next door. We feed them nectar that we buy from the pet shop. The same tree also is home to a pair of galahs who came last year and have recently returned. We feed them seed. The lorikeets will chase the galahs away and eat the seed if we don’t supervise!
