Nest spotted by Tony Peri: “Galahs investigating tree hollow, pulling off wood around entrance to hollow. At the same height but on the other side, Australian wood ducks have nested with chicks in that hollow. This tree is dead. It had all its limbs cut off by the council about 4 or 5 years ago when it was a beautiful specimen of a tree. It then died. It has lots of hollows and is used as a perch regularly by parrots, lorrikeets and other birds.” in the Big City Birds App on 19.04.2022
