Brush-turkey spotted by Clare Strongman: “Baby brush turkey let itself in through the cat flap which startled the cats (which were promptly locked into another room) and ran under a bed. We barricaded routes of entry into the rest of the house and waited for it to leave, however it found a cozy nook and was taking refuge from the cats. Eventually we had to coax it out slowly with a broom. Baby was uninjured and escaped outside where it promptly flew off. It likely came from our backyard mound which has been in use for 2 years in a row.” in the Big City Birds App on 15.10.2022
