Sulphur-crested Cockatoo spotted by Neil Ross: “3 scc's eating Hypochaeris flowers. They are great botanists and learners. I've seen them and little corellas (together) digging up Romulea rosea corms. At some point in recent history these birds learnt to recognise the species and dig these up. They have worked out they were a source of food and I imagine they have passed the knowledge down through time and generations of birds so they aren't reinventing the wheel each year.” in the Big City Birds App on 29.11.2022
