Rostbraune, samtig weiche, leicht vom Substrat lösbare Belege. Hyphenstränge am Rande der Fruchtkörper habe ich nicht gesehen, unter dem Mikroskop konnte ich allerdings stellenweise dichtgepackte Hyphenstränge beobachten.
Das Hyphensystem ist monomitisch. Hyphen des Subiculums braun, dick- und dünnwandig, nicht inkrustiert, 6-8 my im Durchmesser. Septen mit Schnallen.
Sporen in KOH 3% gelb; mehrheitlich rundlich, die größeren Sporen ellipsoid und etwas eckig. Stacheln spitz, bis 2,5 my lang. Apiculus in Melzer amyloid.
Sporengröße ohne Stacheln: (7,5) 8-9 (10) x (6,5) 7-8,5 my.
Zystiden im Hymenium keine beobachtet.
