Nest spotted by Nick Elliott Pimm: “Lorikeets competing with Indian mynas for nest in hole in building. Last season, nest was successfully used by breeding lorikeets (1 offspring i think). Then lorikeets left the nest. Then the Indian mynas used the empty nest (3 offspring i think.) Mynas still use the nest, but lorikeets have returned, and seem to have evicted the mynas by harassing them. Mynas are still investigating the hole, but seems lorikeets are winning. Good job lorikeets!” in the Big City Birds App on 27.02.2022
