Kirche spotted by Heiko Peter Melle: “Bei der heutigen St. Johannes-Kirche handelt es sich um den ersten sakralen Eisenbetonbau der Diözese Rottenburg. Im neobarocken Stil 1912/13 erbaut schmiegt sich der Kirchenbau an den 33 Meter hohen Kirchturm aus dem Jahre 1725. Im Inneren befinden sich zahlreiche barocke Kunstwerke, gesammelt und gestiftet von Pfarrer Albert Pfeffer und aus dem Bestand der Vorgängerkirche die 1670 erbaut wurde, aber nach dem Erdbeben vom 16.
