Brush-turkey spotted by leviibes: “I have lived at a Golden Beach property for 3 and half years with a Brush-turkey (Alectura lathami) aka named Turks. I have seen it all, sharing my back yard with this bloke. He is very handy to have around, a very clean neighbour. The mound/habitat has always been massive and kept since I have occupied the property. I have witnessed 3 breeding seasons, unfortunately, not many have survived over the years. This property is about to be knocked this year, so I feel obligated to share this amazing creature and his habitat.” in the Big City Birds App on 12.02.2024
