Sulphur-crested Cockatoo spotted by Rszarka: “Often while they are having their feeding session an individual not down with them feeding but way up in the nearby tree canopy will yell an alarm call at who knows what and the whole lot of them will leave seed on the fence posts and fly away ..they always come back one by 0ne to finish the job. They always come in the late afternoon and either sit on the fence or in a small tree by the fence and wait for us . Also they seem to recognise me nowadays ..whenever 0ne of them spots me 0utside ..they sort of dive bomb me fly around an inch over my head and land behind me on the fence..it’s pretty smart how they make sure I see them by dive bombing me haha...I have taught them a whistle my dad used to call my sister and I with as kids..if I go outside and whistle that tune if any of them are nearby they all come down to the fence for their treats” in the Big City Birds App on 16.02.2021
