Brush-turkey spotted by Chris-M: “Shelley Sand is pursued by another turkey coming up the path and is chased into tree. It seems that she is one of the most bullied. She doesn’t seem to come around to the reserve halfway between Shelly Beach and Fairy Bower as much as she used to, at least not when I pass by. Shelley Sand venturing further afield has tapered off since she was traumatised by a very large dog off the leash and survived being caught only by the skin of her beak many months ago. She can mostly be found off the track leading up from the Boathouse to Bower St, but even then hard to find.” in the Big City Birds App on 04.03.2024
