Sulphur-crested Cockatoo spotted by Patricia: “Another case of beak and feather in a sulphur arrived today. One of a pair feeding on berries in white cedar. Joined foraging group of 3 so had to keep it away from others seeds. The afflicted bird had lost all fathers around neck face head under wings, chest. Only wings and tail intact. Beak overly long.
Cleaned balcony after it left.” in the Big City Birds App on 25.07.2021

Other bird spotted by JON MCILVEEN: “They were in a tree eating seeds from what looked like a Banksia. When they saw us the started making noises to each other & after about 5 minutes flew into some trees furthers down the track.
They were big birds, and had colour marking on head (as in photo), also on wings and tail feathers, which we say when they flew, magnificent creatures!” in the Big City Birds App on 24.07.2021
