Brush-turkey spotted by Chris-M: “I did not realise until I later viewed this photo that I was looking at Princess Fiona, one of three tagged turkeys at Shelly Beach on Wednesday, 12 June. She has lost both her Wingtags (092) but still has the leg band intact to identify her. She is looking towards another tagged turkey, Colin (090), who has lost one of his two Wingtags. Colin has been chasing her but he has paused and got out of the way of some passing human foot traffic. The third tagged turkey, Shelley Sand (091), when last spotted, still has both of her Wingtags intact. I am unsure when these turkeys were tagged but I must have noticed and been acquainted with them for half a dozen years.” in the Big City Birds App on 14.06.2024
