Little Corella spotted by Claire: “Very large number of Corellas, probably several hundred, observed over an large urban area. Made up of groups of about 20 moving between trees, mostly plane trees but also ornamental pears, pencil pines and eucalypt. Street trees and gardens. Individuals observed eating plane tree fruit in the trees and carrying the fruit between trees. They remained in this area, approx 500m square, for about 20 mins before moving on to parkland on the Murray River, about 1km away. Small number of sulphur crested cockatoos and galahs observed.” in the Big City Birds App on 04.04.2022
