Little Corella spotted by Claire: “Very large number of Corellas, probably several hundred, observed over an large urban area. Made up of groups of about 20 moving between trees, mostly plane trees but also ornamental pears, pencil pines and eucalypt. Street trees and gardens. Individuals observed eating plane tree fruit in the trees and carrying the fruit between trees. They remained in this area, approx 500m square, for about 20 mins before moving on to parkland on the Murray River, about 1km away. Small number of sulphur crested cockatoos and galahs observed.” in the Big City Birds App on 04.04.2022

Nest spotted by Chris-M: “This nest was being used by a turkey I nicknamed ‘Brutus’ but if still active he seems to have moved on from this location. It seemed to attract quite a few females in the year he maintained it but this mound wasn’t in use this year as far as I know. It’s severely overgrown with grass and weeds.” in the Big City Birds App on 06.04.2022
