They're often confused for hobo spiders, which are also quite common in Washington State, as they look very similar. Markings are slightly different though and even if a giant house spider gets a wild hair and does bite, it's not going to do much. Hobo spider bites can be serious, but they're also non-agressive. I'll post one of them next time I find one as well.” in the SpiderSpotter App on 13.03.2022
